What Parents Say

Lime Tree Day Nursery is a wonderful nursery, from the first visit we felt how much all the staff are committed and love their job. Our son, now 18 months, has been attending every day since he was 3 months old and loves it so much that even at the weekend he is standing at the door with his bag ready to go. Also, being French, I appreciate and thank the staff for every effort they make to help our son in developing his bilingual education – they are tip-top.

It’s daunting when looking for a nursery, leaving your children with strangers, responsible for them in your absence. Walking into Lime Tree felt immediately comfortable. A fun and caring environment where a child’s development is important. I wasn’t wrong. My children have settled in very well, developing significantly over the last 10 months. I feel comfortable leaving my children and have the peace of mind that they are in good hands.

Lime Tree is a relaxed and sociable nursery – it’s like a ‘home from home’ for my son. The needs of the children are put first and are supported at each level of development. It’s hard leaving a child at nursery but it is made so much easier when the child is happy – at Lime Tree Owen is very happy!

Lime Tree has exceeded my expectations since my son moved there (from another nursery) 14 months ago. A clean, safe, stimulating environment with a wonderfully friendly feel where all staff give 110% to every single child. Lime Tree is owned and managed by two very professional ladies who clearly lead and inspire by example. Thank you!

All the staff are extremely professional, friendly and enthusiastic and all appear to very much enjoy their jobs. The setting is great and the toys and displays are always changing to stimulate the children.

Lime Tree Nursery has been a big part of our lives over the past 5 years. Our girls are very happy there, cared for and supported in their development ahead of school and through the first few years of school. The facilities are great and the food is great, but more importantly the staff are amazing

When we first brought Louie to nursery he couldn’t even sit up he was so tiny. Now he can just about do anything. Lime tree is as much his home as our house. The nursery gives him everything he needs including a routine he understands. Thank you for taking care of him

Ruben loves his time at Lime Tree, he has become confident and his development is very noticeable. The staff (particularly his key person Donna) treats him like he is her own so he feels very comfortable going each day. Extremely helpful with potty training which ensured he was dry very quickly. I would not choose any other nursery for him. It’s the best!

After moving to the village we had to find a new nursery for Xanthe. From the moment we looked around we could tell it was a safe and happy environment. Xanthe settled very quickly and has loved her time there. The staff are very dedicated and caring and have helped to shape Xanthe into the confident and caring person she is today

Dotty always enjoys coming to nursery. She talks about all her ladies and friends at home and this shows us how happy she is here  the staff know her so well, all her positive and negative behaviours. Dotty has grown in character and age whilst being part of the Lime Tree family. We couldn’t be happier with her care

Lime Tree provides a happy, safe, exciting and stimulating environment with incredibly high standards. Walking into each room is a lovely fun packed experience for both parents, sibling and children. It doesn’t matter what time of the day you arrive, the staff are working with enthusiasm. Family life and development is fully supported from sleeping patterns to potty training and weaning off dummies. The experience of watching duck eggs hatch has been memorable for everyone. I have a very happy little boy!

The facilities and care are excellent, staff have time and patience to speak to parents, and seem to know every child’s name! Each child is assessed individually with regard to their emotional and educational needs, and moved through the nursery at a pace that fits them.
